Captain D's Fish Batter
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- 2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne
- 1 1/2 cups Water
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients first then slowly mix in water.
Notes
- Captain D's uses pollock fish but any white fish can be used and must be thawed and padded dry before batter dipping.
- This batter will coat about 2lbs of pollock.
- Heat oil to 350°-370° for deep frying.
